Monday Made It, now on Wednesday!

I've had a pretty busy last couple of weeks.  The last week of June was a big week in my hometown.  We are the "Home of the World's First Rodeo" and celebrate with a parade, a bbq lunch, and of course - the rodeo.  On top of that, my mom's side of the family had a family reunion that same week.

Here is a picture from the Rodeo parade of myself,  my son Max, and a friend that I teach with and her little girl!

For the 4th, my parents and Max and myself all went to a small town about 75 miles away that has activities for the 4th of July.  Here are a couple of pictures from last weekend!

Oh how this boy has my heart!

Before the fireworks show with our cousins Kyla and Kristi!

Now, on to what I have actually accomplished this week!  Believe it or not, I have a few things!

 Monogram Door Hanger

My first made it is a door hanger for my classroom!  The fabric behind it is burlap....the picture just came out funny looking! This consisted of one of the wooden frames from Michaels, the wooden letter was from Michaels as well.  The flower came from Hobby Lobby, and the paint I had on hand.

Milk Crate Reading Bench

Next, is a pretty innovative project, if I do say so myself!  I have been wanting to make the seats from milk crates, but as I faced reality, there wasn't going to be much of a chance of getting it done since I live in the middle of nowhere and Max takes up most of my time!  However, Max has not used his changing table in about 6 months, so I had the mattress sitting around.  I'm just going to let the pictures do the talking now though!

Tacky!

Pinterest Organization Covers

This third one is a work in process.  I saw this tutorial from Ladybug's Teacher Files and they were unbelievably clear.  I've seen several blogs talking about having done this to their Pinterest boards and decided to do it too!  The pins I'm creating are pretty basic, but I am color coding them by genre so I can find them easier.  Here are a few examples:

We are off to North Carolina tomorrow!  Have a good one everyone!
